Why do I need a Registered Office Address?
UK limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) are legally required to have a UK registered office. Using a Registered Office Address has the added benefit of protecting your personal address from appearing on the public register.
What is included as official mail and is mail forwarding free?
Official mail is usually mail sent to the company from Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) but can also include mail from HM Courts & Tribunals Service and the Intellectual Property Office.
By default, your official mail will be scanned and emailed to you daily. We do not charge to scan and email or forward your company’s official mail to you. Let us know how you would like your mail to be forwarded via your admin panel and we will follow these instructions.
Should you need a hardcopy of a letter that has been scanned, please let us know within one month of upload date and it will be sent to you.
Can a Registered Office Address be used as the Director Service Address?
The Registered Office Address can also be used as the Director Service Address (including officers, PSC and shareholders) but must be added to your order as there is a separate charge to use the address as the directors service address. See Director Service Address
How do I change my Registered Office Address?
To change your company’s Registered Office Address, submit form AD01 (LLAD01 for LLPs) or use Webfiling to change the registered office address electronically. Should you need help making the update, please ask and we will talk you through it.
What ID do I need to supply?
You are required to supply proof of your ID (passport, driving licence photocard, government-issued ID card, HM Forces ID card, valid Student card, employment ID card, disabled driver blue badge) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, mortgage statement, HMRC Notice of Coding) within seven days.You will be shown where to upload your ID once your order is complete.
How do I start?
Simply select the required package, complete the order form, and make the payment online using Worldpay. Once we have your order, your account will be active and ready to use. As soon as you have submitted your order, check your emails, as you will receive an automatic email confirming your order and the correct address to use.
Does my contract automatically renew at the end of my 12-month term?
No, we do not automatically renew our services. We send a renewal email a month before an annual renewal is due (followed by several reminders if action has not been taken).
Can I use your address on my ‘Google My Business’ profile?
No, unfortunately our virtual office locations are not eligible for a 'Google My Business' profile on Google. However, other smaller online business directories might allow our locations to be used.
